此瓶小唇口，丰肩，弧线优美，腹部向下内收，小圈足。外表施白地赭彩，其口部饰草叶纹，肩部饰简笔卷草纹，腹部以海涛纹为地，六连弧开光内绘芦草、鸳鸯戏水图案，此梅瓶最有特点之处在于开光装饰手法的运用，开光不仅在有效的空间内增加了纹饰的层次，而且也使图案主次分明，别开生面。整体构图严谨，纹饰布局疏密有序，绘画笔法自然流畅，是吉州梅瓶系列中的精品。
