清 石刻迦葉頭像 Well-carved in the round, with a serene expression, gently smiling, lips with traces of pigments, his forehead with wrinkles, head bare. 迦葉是佛陀十大弟子之一，其出生於婆羅門種姓家富豪庭中，從小受到良好的教育。入佛祖門下，堅進苦，後證得羅漢果。在靈鷲山法會上，迦葉領會對佛祖微妙法門，對 拈花而微笑，得佛祖“衣缽真傳”，被中國禪宗列爲西天第一代祖師。此迦葉像器身部分缺失，只留有頭部，爲年老比丘形貌，額頭皺紋清晰，面容慈祥， 眉如彎月，雙目低垂，寬鼻小嘴，顴骨高凸。局部殘留紅彩，體現了年代久遠而帶來的 滄桑感。
