Chinese ,19th C,Two Chinese porcelain plates, one painted with ferocious dragons with four claws flying amidst cloud swirls, pursuing a flaming pearl. A roundel of a character painted to the center, rim decorated with geometric patterns with floral panels in between, reserved on a white ground. Other plate is brightly enameled with eight ferocious dragons flying amidst cloud swirls pursuing flaming pearls, with 'shou' character to the center and breaking waves surrounding it. Reserved on a white ground, with gilded rim. Six characters to the underside. D: 9.8"(24.9cm) D: 9.5"(24.2cm) Condition: One is in good condition with only one shallow chip to the rim, the other one with few chip to the mouth rim and a faint hairline
