题识：荷趣图。杨超同志属正，丁巳初冬八十一叟苦禅作于月坛。 钤印：八十后作、苦禅、李英之印 1.上款人杨超为原中共四川省委书记，原周恩来同志办公室政治秘书，曾创办四川省诗书画院并担任院长。2.212-215为同一上款及同一藏家友情提供。李苦禅，原名英，字超三，号励公，后改名苦禅，别署禅、禅父、禅老、山东老民，山东高唐人。1923年拜齐白石为师。曾任中央美术学院教授、中国美协理事、中国画研究院委员。
