曼松属倚邦茶山管辖,在倚邦茶叶里以曼松茶叶最好。有“吃曼松着倚邦”之说。有着文说:明成化年间,当地官员到京城上贡,选遍六大茶山各寨之茶,最后发现曼松茶色、香、味俱全,且用开水冲泡后有“站立不倒”,于是便使马驮送到朝中。宪宗皇帝品过之后赞不绝口,当即指定该茶为朝廷专用“贡茶”。明王朝为保证曼松茶的好质量,任命倚邦叶氏为土司,专门负责“曼松站立贡茶”的生产加工。叶氏又任命曼松寨头人李氏负责该项工作。李氏通过几年的努力,将“站立贡茶”发展到令人满意的规模,因此,李氏得了“曼松贡茶王”的名号。曼松茶特点:暗香浮动,香气含而不露,茶汤浅而稠,甜润感从口腔深至喉咙,水细滑而气感强,是任何茶山都无法比拟的。
