曼松属倚邦茶山管辖，在倚邦茶叶里以曼松茶叶最好。有“吃曼松着倚邦”之说。有着文说：明成化年间，当地官员到京城上贡，选遍六大茶山各寨之茶，最后发现曼松茶色、香、味俱全，且用开水冲泡后有“站立不倒”，于是便使马驮送到朝中。宪宗皇帝品过之后赞不绝口，当即指定该茶为朝廷专用“贡茶”。明王朝为保证曼松茶的好质量，任命倚邦叶氏为土司，专门负责“曼松站立贡茶”的生产加工。叶氏又任命曼松寨头人李氏负责该项工作。李氏通过几年的努力，将“站立贡茶”发展到令人满意的规模，因此，李氏得了“曼松贡茶王”的名号。曼松茶特点：暗香浮动，香气含而不露，茶汤浅而稠，甜润感从口腔深至喉咙，水细滑而气感强，是任何茶山都无法比拟的。
