Two similar French Provincial armchairs with stained beech frames with oval upholstered backs, arm rests and seats on a moulded frame and tapering stop fluted legs. Provenance: Bonhams October 2013 where stated previously purchased from David Paton Ltd in 1967 for £100, the receipt suggesting that they were formerly the property of Winston Churchill at 28 Hyde Park Gate London.
