The piece is a striking example of the traditional designs produced in the Jiangsu Province for over 2000 years. The teapot features a Dragon in the Clouds motif with embossed detail to the body and a figural dragon head lid vent. The piece is donein Zisha clay which shows rich color. The lid interior bears a partial impressed stamp. The teapot measures 8" spout to handle, 5" wide and 4 ¼" high. Both the pot and lid are in excellent condition with no damage. This figural Dragondesign would make a nice addition to your collection of traditional Chinese Zisha / Yixing teapots.
