严寅亮（1854-1933），贵州印江人。土家族，字碧岑，号弼丞，别号剩广、剩庵、阳坡山民、阳坡居士。著名的书法家、教育家。严寅亮幼年入塾读书，学识超群，尤好书法，常临六朝唐宋诸家法贴，尤其酷爱王羲之的字，14岁便能提笔书匾联。同治十年（1872），寅亮在思南府考中秀才，入思南府学。光绪十五年（1889）赴贵阳乡试，中己丑恩科举人。清皇家园林颐和园牌匾即为其所题。黔中川蜀、大江南北多处风景名胜均有其墨迹碑刻。
