JAMES TOWER (1919-1988); a tin glazed earthenware fish dish with black and white decoration, incised signature, made 1980, 51 x 43cm. (D) Provenance: Isobel Czarska collection. PR – This has had its tail restored – I think all but one of the small number of Tower’s fish dishes with fan tails has a similar break. Additional Information Professional restoration to tail and tight hairline extending 7cm from rim in one place, otherwise appears good with no further signs of faults, damage or restorations. This lot qualifies for Artist Resale Rights. For further information, please visit http://www.dacs.org.uk or http://artistscollectingsociety.org
