明代 銅鎏金觀音/nA Chinese gilt bronze statue of Guanyin with a two-part stand dating from the Ming dynasty. Guanyin sits in padmasana on a single lotus pedestal which sits upon a fenced stand. Her hands are in abhaya or blessing mudra. She wears an elaborate robe and jewelry including a tall crown featuring Amitabha Buddha. Dimensions are: the whole lot measures 13 1/4 inches tall X 7 1/2 inches wide, 36.7 cm X 19.1 cm. Weight: 4800 grams total. All measurements are approximate. High resolution images can be found here.
