十九世纪 刺绣十六条一套/nA group of sixteen Chinese silk panels dating from the 19th century. All are mounted on a paper backing. The group includes: a pair of panels with an embroidered garden scene with women, two red-ground panels with four character calligraphies in gold thread and white thread inscriptions, six burgundy panels with yellow painted archaic inscriptions, and six floral embroideries with birds and bugs including some with inscriptions and seals. Dimensions are: the largest panels of the floral embroideries measure 24 1/2 inches tall X 9 inches wide, 62.2 cm X 22.9 cm. All measurements are approximate.
