A George III mahogany cabinet bookcase, circa 1800, the glazed helix-moulded doors enclosing adjustable shelves, above a frieze drawer and a pair of cabinet doors, 235cm high, 118cm wide, 57cm deep Provenance: Berwick House, Shropshire Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, Some old cracks, most notably to one lower panel, One rear leg is loose - it is supporting the cabinet at present but will require a propper repair before use in a domestic setting The handles have an oval patch of timber behind that appears slightly incongruous to the overall piece but no clear signs to suggest these are not correct or later additions. The glass all appears to be old and with the usual deformities Overall with a dark colour overall Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition Condition Report Disclaimer
