A George III mahogany twin pedestal dining table, late 18th century, with one short leaf insertion, with Normal Adams label to one rail, 72cm high, 191cm wide, 115cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, Marks and scratches to the top, there is wear and indentations There is colour variation across the leaves, The central leaf insert has rails of the same overall construction as the ends. The ends have a hole with metal bracing supports - these do not align with the rails of the leaf - they may be to allow the table to be bolted more firmly together when the leaf is not in place - however the table clips would appear to fulfil this role too. When the leaf is in place this is held by the clips only - this appears to be solid. One table clip is slightly misshapen and will require a little attention to bend back to the correct position for maximum support and usability. the other three appear in fair order Overall the table appears solid and stable There is wear and discolouration to the metal caps to the legs of the supports Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition Condition Report Disclaimer
