Bernardus S carcilla, and the abbreviated ex voto V. F. G. A., the body approximately 31cm long excluding chains, presented with later frosted glass shade Provenance: Private Collection, The Manor House, Stanford in the Vale, Oxfordshire A circa late 17th/early 18th century design for a similar censer by Baroque sculptor Giovanni Battista Foggini is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, Acc. no. 52.570.239 Condition Report: Usual minor marks, knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use.
