A Victorian mahogany and canework hall seat or bench, second half 19th century, 93cm high, 126cm wide, 58cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old splits and chips Some grain filler visible to the surface Cane panels have been replaced but match well To the backs of the cane panels there are vacant holes and glue residue from the previous caning The back of one rear panel has these holes covered by rear timber Bench is structurally solid overall Some later batons of timber to the underside of the seats Seat cushions are replacements and bear the expected creases and fading Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition.
