Two underglaze painted earthenware dishes, Bukhara, Central Asia, circa 1800-1900, each glazed in cobalt-blue, green and manganese over white ground, one decorated with a stylised cat fish and sword motif, the other with radiating panels divided by cross-hatched bands, 38cm and 37cm diameter (2) Provenance: From a private collection, recently removed from Knightsbridge, London and by family descent; purchased by the late owner at Sotheby's, 22nd April, 1999, lot 79.
