Measurements: 11.875in x8.5in x 7.25in Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Gilt over zijin glazed porcelain amphora zun vase. Potted in a Zun shaped vase, thick and large, globular body, slighty oval body, rounded shoulder concealing gracefully to a prominent cylindrical neck, two Chinese beast handles emerging and flanked on the shoulder, with wide thick flaring open lip, raised with short splayed foot base rim and slightly concave. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in zijin glazed base color which contrast against the gilt fine color, depicted of lotus flowers blooms interpesed scrolling foliage, tendril, arrays of tropical leaves patterns and repeating key fret. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. Mark on base, a six red glazed seal script Zhuanshu characters reign mark, Made In The Years of QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
