|“刘海戏金蟾”为明清时期的经典题材，寓有财源兴旺之意，广为流传。此摆件，以瓷塑施青花绘饰而成。刘海席地而坐，肩披广袖长袍，一手撑于身后，身体微微后仰，赤足侧坐，状似弥勒，平顶披发，圆庞迭颐，上裸胸腹，斜眸大笑，右手捏钱逗引三足金蟾，情景生动。人物形象刻画细致入微，栩栩如生。全器烧製精致，塑形严谨，青花绘饰细腻。|刘海，道号海蟾子，五代燕山（今北京西南）人。少年时曾为宰相，後因厌倦官场，改学道术。又因会戏灵物“金蟾”，得金钱致富，后代奉为“福神”，为财源兴旺之象，沿袭至今，历久尤盛。
