|朱泥为胎，口、盖、钮与壶体纹理配合精确，一弯秀嘴在菊瓣中生展，贴切润韵，长端把流若水，下置飞垂，口盖吻合。菊瓣壶制工繁复，通常先围坯打身筒，然后等分押筋纹，方显筋纹的张力。但壶内常见极细的微缝泥痕，口盖泥片依标准样板凿制，方可毫厘不差。此壶泥料细致润，发色娇艳，玲珑可爱，通体散发一股澄和典雅的美感。
