Trümper '09" and inscribed: "MARANS KRIEL HAAN" and "indische Vechter". Round format (medallion) framed in profiled wooden frame. Naturalistic and finely painted depiction of a chicken / rooster of each of the chicken breeds "Indian fighters (Indische Vechter)" and "Marans". Trümper, originally a fabric designer, worked as a painter under the influence of Magic Realism and Surrealism. In addition to surrealist and naturalistic works, works based on old master models represent another part of his oeuvre.
