A pair of 19th Century French gothic ormolu bronze candlesticks / chambersticks in the form of mythical creatures / dragons or griffins. Decorative single sconces above with engraved acanthus leaves and circular scroll decorated drip trays. The central columns in the form of the mythical beasts with circular heart shape thumb rests and raised on lion mask and scroll plinth bases. Stamped to undersides GP (slightly illegible).
