A large 19th Century Arabian cold painted cast spelter figure of a traveling merchant / street vendor stood upon a tasselled end rug finished in white and holding a gourd over his shoulder. Painted robes with gilt detailing throughout raised on a shaped wooden base. Measures approx; 81cm x 24cm x 30cm. Wear commensurate with age, left arm has been repaired.
