An early 19th Century George III plum pudding mahogany tea caddy box of large size having inset brass diamond cartouche to lid with brass corners and recessed brass campaign handles. The hinged lid opening to reveal twin lift out caddies with central mixing recess. Box in good condition some wear commensurate with age, caddies have loss / wear and repair. Underside felt appears replacement and no key present. Overall a good period example. Measures approx; 8cm x 36cm x 18cm.
