Two 19th Century samplers from the same family, comprising a mid-19th Century Early Victorian hand stitched cotton sampler worked by one Anne Mitchell Aged 14 of Alstonefield School May 1841. Hand stitched with religious poem various motifs and depiction of classical scenes and school building. Along with an earlier 1810 example sampler worked by an Ann Michel aged 12, Measures approx; 45cm x 51cm. Framed and glazed.
