A pair of Chinese turquoise enamelled and gilt moulded biscuit porcelain archaistic beaker vases, mark of Qianlong but later Qing dynasty, each of square waisted section, moulded in relief and picked out in gilt with dragon and stiff leaf panels divided by gilt vertical flanges, all reserved against a turquoise and lavender mottled ground, impressed and gilt seal mark of Qianlong to base, height 19.8cm, with carved and pierced hardwood stands. Provenance: purchased at Sotheby's, 16th November 1965, Lot 240. Buyer’s Premium 29.4% (including VAT @ 20%) of the hammer price.
