A painted figural scene featuring Krishna seated on a carpet beneath a canopy and leaning against a plump cushion in the palace gardens, a noble worshipper kneeling before him and gazing into Krishna's eyes, stretching his open left hand towards the god and holding a sitar in his right hand; golden sun partially hidden behind trees in the background with white egrets resting atop the trees; blue floral border and thicker red border around. 23 grams, 30cm (11 3/4").
