A bronze stirrup mount of Williams's Class B, rectangular with rivets to the upper corners, flange to the reverse with two ferrous rivets; the plaque with mask to the lower edge and openwork tendrils surrounding. 35.8 grams, 47mm (1 3/4"). Property of a Kent gentleman; found St Mary's in the Marsh, Kent, UK, 2017; recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme under reference number PAS KENT-016905; accompanied by a copy of the PAS report. The mount belongs to William's Class B but is not closely similar to any mount published in the 1997 typology.
