A lead-alloy disc brooch with pierced flange for suspension; raised design of a ropework border, segmented boss with eight projecting lugs and central knop; solder scar to the reverse from the pin (now lost"). Recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme under reference KENT-FA979C. 26.5 grams, 35mm (1 1/2"). Property of a Kent gentleman; found Dymchurch Kent, UK, 2019; recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme under reference number PAS KENT-FA979C; accompanied by a copy of the PAS report.
