12th-14th century AD. A bronze key with oval-section stem with facetted sides, roughly shield-shaped bow with two parallel sides formed as hounds, their legs forming flourishes in the openwork centre, and their heads forming lugs projecting from the top bar of the bow, rectangular bit with clefts and wards.
