A bronze furniture leg or bracket in neo-classical Grand Tour style with lions' claw foot, goat's leg shank with a coiled spur to the reverse, panels of classical decoration to the thigh including a satyr mask and acanthus leaves, all surmounted by a crouching sphinx with the wings spread to the rear; mounted on a square fixing plate with holes. 3.4 kg, 76cm (30").
