A silver-gilt pendant wheel-headed Orthodox cross with transverse angled lower ledge; raised text to the obverse, with the monogram of Jesus Christ in Greek (IC =?????? and X = ???????) at the side of the cross arms, geometric designs to the reverse. The horizontal bar at the top represents the plaque with the Titulum (INRI"). The transverse line at the bottom represents the footrest and in the Russian Orthodox tradition it is represented diagonally: usually the upper part is the one to the left of the observer.
