A bifacial processional or altar cross with openwork interlace body and tapering cylindrical shaft with circumferential band of openwork triangles; decorated hinged panels to the centre and three arms of one face, with vibrantly painted figural scenes to the reverse of each panel and internal face, with two panels of text; reverse with additional cruciform engravings. 1 kg, 44cm (17 1/4").
