New Kingdom-Late Period, 1550-332 BC. A black granite fragment of a left foot, possibly from a seated statue, four elegantly carved elongated toes resting on a plinth with defined nails. See Robins, G., Egyptian Statues, Shire Egyptology 26, Princes Risborough, 2001. 250 grams, 12cm (4 3/4"). From an important English collection; acquired from France in 2015; accompanied by a copy of the French cultural passport no.167713 and an academic report by Dr Alberto Maria Pollastrini.
