A finely carved marble left foot, once part of a larger statue, modelled wearing a sandal with detailing to the toes, nail beds and sandal; mounted on a custom-made base. See The Metropolitan Museum, accession number 23.160.7, for a similar form. 1 kg total, 13.5cm including stand (5 1/4"). From an important English collection; this lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no.10781-177433.
