A carved serpentine stylised human figure modelled in the half-round, kneeling, resting on toes, arms held tightly to the chest, hands clasped together, bald, oval-shaped head with semi-naturalistic detailing to the face, pierced through the ears and head for suspension, wearing a belt around the waist; worn vertical groove to the reverse. 38 grams, 58mm (2 1/4''"). From the family collection of a Hampstead gentleman; formerly acquired in the 1980s. [No Reserve]
