A GEORGE III MAHOGANY POLE SCREEN CIRCA 1770 With a rectangular needlework panel, 18th or 19th century 145cm high, the screen 67.5cm high, 54cm wide Condition Report: There are some marks, scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. The woolwork banner lacking some wool and revealing the canvas ground (it appears that the wool of a particular colour has fragmented, perhaps corroded?). There is some ivory coloured silk stitchwork, that could be either period or later. A tear to the banner, some repairs. The back of the banner with later fabric and stains.
