A Chinese watercolor and ink handscroll painting on silk attributed to Tang Yin depicting scenes from the story of the War of the Three Kingdoms. There are 37 figures depicted throughout the painting. The painting has an inscription and three seals, and it is mounted on a silk backing. Dimensions are: 10 1/2 inches tall X 160 inches wide, 26.7 cm X 406.4 cm. All measurements are approximate. High resolution photos can be found here. Condition: The silk has darkened with age. There are punctures, staining, creasing, cracking, tears, repairs, and loss. Provenance: From Mr. Bien in Orange County, California.
