A framed Chinese four color imperial edict dating from the Tongzhi period. The cloth edict features two scripts, Chinese and Manchu, and it has two seals. Dimensions are: 12 inches tall X 84 inches wide, 30.5 cm X 213.4 cm, while the frame measures 15 1/2 inches tall X 87 1/2 inches wide, 39.4 cm X 222.3 cm. All measurements are approximate.
