【简述】陈鸣远字鸣远，号鹤峰，又号石霞山人，壶隐，清康熙年间宜兴紫砂名艺人，是历代以来壶艺和精品成就很高的名手。陈鸣远出生于紫砂世家，所制茶具、雅玩达数十种，无不精美绝伦，他还开创了壶体镌刻诗铭之风，署款以刻铭和印章并用，款式健雅，有盛唐风格，作品名孚中外，当时有“海外竞求鸣远碟”之说，对紫砂陶艺发展史建立了卓越功勋。
