Li Song (1166-1243), a painter from the Southern Song Dynasty of China, was born in Qiantang (now Hangzhou, Zhejiang). He was a carpenter when he was a teenager, and later became the adopted son of Li Congxun, a painter of the painting academy. He was good at painting figures, Taoist interpretation, and was especially good at world painting. He was awaiting edict in the painting academy during the Guangzong, Ningzong, and Lizong (1190-1264) periods. .
