A group of 5 porcelain snuff bottles from the 19th century. The group includes: 1 with a figure riding an elephant, 1 blue and purple, 1 with 2 dragons and flaming pearls and ruyi clouds, 1 with fish and a 6 character mark on the bottom, and 1 with baskets of flowers and a 4 character mark on the bottom. Dimensions are: the largest snuff bottle measures 3 1/4 inches tall X 1 inches wide, 8.26 cm X 2.54 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is wear to the glaze on all of the bottles. The bottle with the fish has a crack at the base and bottom. The flower bottle has a chip on the base and the lip has been repaired. The blue and purple bottle has a chip on the base and the lid is glued on. Several of the lids are missing the spoon. Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Mullen in Upstate New York. Mr. Mullen was a world traveler and collected from different countries from the 1950s to the 1980s.
