此件作品精铜所铸，皮壳古润苍茂。关公头戴皂角帽，面庞圆润，五官紧凑，为典型的明代汉地开脸风格，二尺髯须飘逸自然，气度超凡。身穿战袍，衣纹简练，腹前、手臂等处衣褶交代到位，工艺精湛娴熟，腰系革带，足踏长靴，呈威震四方的姿态坐于宝座之上。左手握拳置于膝上，右手当胸捋髯，威风潇洒之气尽显。 背面山石一侧阴刻楷书铭文，尾落款“□县修善都，男善人杨庆，室人温氏，男杨□妻温氏，本寺僧人登雄佛经。辽州匠人张朝云。” 翻阅历年拍卖记录可知，西泠印社拍卖，2019年12月15日上拍一尊带有“男善人霍□住妻李氏辽州匠人张朝云”款的明代地藏王菩萨，以RMB218,500价格成交，编号4760，可兹参考。
