A signed letter in pen and ink, dated July 30, 1872, letter has envelope attached addressed to Henry Upston Esq, 2 Stone Buildings, Lincoln's Inn, London, along with a reproduction portrait of Tennyson, when open measures height 18cm, width 22.5cm Condition: letter is folded in half and has tear down fold, Tennyson's signature has been later annotated in pencil, envelope has been adhered to letter, other stains, foxing, remnants of sticking tape to the reverse
