签名：Marcestel|马克（Marcestel），1943年2月26日出生于巴黎。1960年从摩纳哥阿尔贝一世学院毕业，取得大学入学资格。1968年取得巴黎大学经济学学士学位，取得法国国立东方语言文化学院俄语及中文学士学位。1969年回到巴黎后担任外交部部长莫里斯·舒曼的秘书。1970年赴印度、柬埔寨、日本旅行，参观大阪世博会并与艺术大师冈本太郎相识，首次见到东方水墨画并为其水墨交融的绘画技法所倾倒，就此弃政从艺，致力于让油画颜料在画布上呈现水墨交融的效果。
