本品以米色素缎为底，依画理绣山间一景。山石料峭，石上生长海棠花树，花开正艳，又结红鲜之果，应“珠树”之题。宋诗云:“锦帏人未起，珠树鹊先惊”。又常以珠树比喻俊才，本图中取海棠“光耀门庭”之寓意，花树下点缀灵芝，恰好又组成“芝兰玉树”之高雅意向，以表子孙才德兼备之美好祝福。石上装饰翠竹，水仙，微芝等物，有“天仙拱嵩”之意。此圆融高雅舆吉祥寓意于一体，可调构思巧妙。又兼针线细密，颇具笔墨韵味，设色光彩射目，为清代宫廷绣画轴佳作。
