此炉为精铜铸造而成，造型独特，炉上有盖，呈穹顶状，其上为仰莲纹宝珠钮，盖身之上镂空元宝海棠花形出烟孔，十分的别致，炉盖鎏金。其下炉身，宽平沿炉口，矮束颈，瓜棱形炉身，两侧装狮首衔环耳，精美而威猛，炉身之上开光，其内錾刻花鸟纹饰，耳与开窗内鎏金，炉身呈茄皮色，与鎏金呼应古慕而美观。其下承三方柱形足，亦鎏金。整体观之，此炉工艺繁复精湛，造型端庄古慕，装饰华丽，颇具乾隆时期香炉铸造风格，保存完好，且成对出现实属难得。
