该炉呈簋形，精铜铸造，棠梨色其上洒金，上配紫檀白玉雕如意钮盖下配同质底座。香炉阔口，唇微涉，微束颈，腹微鼓，颈腹间两侧铸造龙型钣状耳；腹正面铸造饕餮纹，大臣字目，出扉棱做鼻。有方折的回纹做底纹；足胫之上装饰夔龙纹，龙首似蛇头，两圆目，神秘古慕，底纹亦是方折回纹。此炉通体纹饰仿古、工整细致，形象生动，鎏金密实，洒金基色上显得金光雀跃，华丽异常。造型仍规整有加，敦实沈稳，堂皇华丽神韵风采绰然，无不彰显出名家制炉典范。
