拍品胎色洁白，胎质细腻。外壁饰粉彩仕女图，设色清雅，人物描绘精细，衣褶处理飘逸，整体釉彩清丽，为清代粉彩器之翘楚。粉彩又称「软彩」，是一种釉上彩经低温烧成的彩绘方法，因其予人粉润柔和之感，故称这种釉上彩为「粉彩」。粉彩瓷是在五彩瓷基础上，受珐琅彩瓷制作工艺的影响而创造的一种釉上彩新品种，从康熙晚期创烧，后历朝流行不衰。
