立口，束颈，长腹下收，圈足。以五彩为饰，腹部以五彩绘刀马人物图，色彩艳丽，人物生动。整体以苍竹怪石为背景，两队人马相遇交锋，双方主将骑战马、穿札甲，手持冷兵，往来厮杀，其余将士于四周摇旗助威，战况十分激烈。整个画面描绘生动，动感十足，反映出绘者深厚的艺术功力。自康熙年间，取材于版画的刀马人物题材开始大量出现在瓷器作品之上。本品即为典型代表，且其用彩比同类作品更为丰富，描绘也更为细腻，是为翘楚。
