提要：王士祯晚年手定《精华录》十卷，录其已刊各部诗集之精华，一千六百馀首，由门人林佶手书上版。刊行之后，风靡一时，遂有为之作注者。有金荣撰《笺注》、尹应鼎《会心偶笔》等。是编于每诗后，列所注之词语，下详引博考。次序与《精华录》相同，唯因注后分量增大，故将每卷皆分为上下两卷。惠氏补王士祯《自撰年谱》附于末。凡引用王士祯著作达六十五种，及其他书籍五十馀种，可见其采摭之富。
